The student will be assigned a daily practice schedule based on their skill level. Daily practice will be anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes in length. The amount of time dedicated to practice will determine how quickly the student advances.
Initially I teach from books that focus on basic theory and music notation. We will discuss technique and theory. As the student progresses, their education will be customized to meet their musical tastes. Please be prepared to study the classics concurrently (but not exclusively!).
There is a waiting room for parents and siblings to relax in during the lesson. Mugshots Coffee is next door if you prefer to wait there. I share the building with my friend, Peggy Parker, of Ultimate Balance.
Payment is due at the first lesson of every month, for the upcoming month, in the form of cash or check (exceptions for Charter School attendees).
Attendance is strongly encouraged.
